Welcome to SnapDoor. By accessing our website and booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must not use this website or our services.



1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time, and changes will be effective once posted on this page with a revised effective date.



2. Service Area and Business Model

SnapDoor is a service area business. We do not operate from a public storefront. Services are delivered at the customer’s location within Perth and surrounding suburbs.



3. Services

We provide garage door repair and maintenance services, including but not limited to:

  • Roller and sectional garage door repairs
  • Motor replacement and installation (Merlin, Jaytech, Superlift and others)
  • Spring replacement and balancing
  • Cable, track, hinge, and roller repairs
  • Remote programming and system servicing

We do not supply DIY parts or kits, and services are limited to professional installation and repair.



4. Quotes, Pricing and Payment

  • Quotes: Valid for 7 days only.
  • Call-out Fee: We do not charge a call-out fee within our service area.
  • After-hours surcharge: Services outside regular business hours (evenings, weekends, and public holidays) incur a 20% surcharge.
  • Payment: Due upon completion of service by card, bank transfer, or cash. Invoices with ABN and itemised details are issued via email.
  • No hidden fees: We do not charge card surcharges or additional access/parking fees.




5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling are free of charge.
  • No fees apply for no-shows, access delays, or cancellations due to traffic or weather conditions.




6. Warranty and Australian Consumer Law

  • SnapDoor workmanship warranty: If a defect arises from our workmanship within 12 months, we will re-attend at no additional cost. If the issue is unrelated to our work, a new service fee applies.
  • Manufacturer warranties: All parts and motors are covered under the respective manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Consumer guarantees: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).




7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide safe and clear access to the garage door area.
  • Inform us of any building restrictions, parking limitations, or security requirements.
  • Remove obstacles from the workspace before service.
  • Obtain consent from the property owner or strata/condo management when required.




8. Parts, Ownership and Disposal

  • Parts supplied remain property of SnapDoor until payment is received in full.
  • Replaced parts may be collected by the customer or disposed of by us in an environmentally responsible manner.




9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapDoor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, except where required under the ACL.
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our control (force majeure), including severe weather, supply shortages, or accidents.



10. Subcontractors

SnapDoor may engage qualified subcontractors. All subcontractors operate under SnapDoor’s supervision, and we remain responsible for the service provided.



11. Photos, Testimonials and Marketing

  • We may take photos of completed work for training or portfolio purposes. Identifiable personal data (e.g., car plates, addresses) will not be published without consent.
  • Customer testimonials or reviews may be used in marketing with permission.




12. Website Terms of Use

  • Intellectual Property: All text, images, and content on this site are the property of SnapDoor and cannot be used without written consent.
  • Restrictions: You may not scrape, copy, or automate access to the site.
  • Third-Party Links: We are not responsible for the content or policies of third-party websites linked on our site.
  • Updates: These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.




13. Advertising and Promotions

  • All promotions, coupons, or discounts will specify validity and conditions.
  • Prices shown in advertising or landing pages reflect genuine offers and comply with Google Ads and Meta Ads policies.
  • SnapDoor undergoes Google Advertiser Verification. All advertising data is consistent with our registered ABN and invoicing details.
  • We comply with Meta Advertising Policies and do not publish misleading or deceptive claims.




14. Privacy and Communications

  • Your use of our website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and use your data.
  • By providing your contact details, you consent to communications via phone, SMS/WhatsApp, and email. You may opt out at any time.




15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.
