At SnapDoor, we are committed to delivering reliable and transparent service. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how we handle cancellations, refunds, and rework in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


1. Cancellations

  • Free cancellation: Customers may cancel or reschedule their booking at any time, at no cost.

  • No cancellation fees: We do not charge fees for late cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows.

  • Access issues: If access to the property is not possible at the scheduled time, no charges will apply.


2. Refunds

Refunds may apply under the following circumstances:

  • If you have prepaid for a service and SnapDoor is unable to attend or complete the job.

  • If you have paid for a service in advance and cancel before work has commenced.

  • If a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law due to service failure or major fault.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.


3. Rework and Warranty Claims

  • SnapDoor provides a 12-month workmanship warranty.

  • If a service issue arises due to our workmanship, we will re-attend and fix the problem at no additional cost.

  • If the issue is unrelated to our work (e.g., new damage, wear and tear, unrelated faults), a new service fee will apply.

  • Manufacturer warranties for parts (e.g., motors, remotes) are honoured in line with the supplier’s terms.


4. No Refunds Where Not Applicable

Refunds do not apply in cases where:

  • Work was completed as quoted and to a professional standard, but the customer changes their mind.

  • Issues arise from circumstances outside SnapDoor’s control (e.g., unrelated faults, misuse, accidents, or natural wear).


5. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to remedies for services that fail to meet acceptable quality, including repairs, replacement, or refunds depending on the situation.
